Announcements and Homework for Monday 2/27

Hello Students!
My apologies for having to miss class on Friday. We should be back in class and ready to go on Monday.

Your homework for Monday is TP #11. There is no reading for this one; check the thought piece for information. You should spend the weekend researching your chosen Discourse community and gathering data.
Remember, also, your interviews should be done by this coming Wednesday.

Finally, an announcement for Monday: I will again be having my supervisor, Doug, observing me in class. Please be your normal awesome selves; he is watching me, not you.

Homework Due Friday 2/24

Your homework for Friday is to read the Mirabelli article and write TP #10. Remember to be reading rhetorically--for the strategies Mirabelli uses to analyze his discourse community. Your thought piece only needs to be one page long, maximum.

One other thing to note is that your interview for your Discourse Community project is due one week from now on February 29th. You are well advised to begin your project as soon as possible so you can get your interview done.
