Sign Up for Conferences!

Hello Students!
Please click here to sign up for our second round of conferences.

Please read the instructions first! Remember, conferences are a required portion of your grade.

What you should bring to your conference:
1. The drafts (with my comments) of the papers you'd like to revise for the portfolio
2. Your Literacy Reflection (with my comments).

For Monday 4/9

Now that your presentations are over, we will be working to finalize your collaborative papers. Monday will be a work day. Please bring your computers/materials. If your group plans to work somewhere other than the classroom, be sure to bring all of your questions to me in the beginning of class.

It would be a good idea to have a draft or parts of your paper done before class so that you can workshop it with me and your groupmates.

Students,
Remember that your attendance is required for the presentation days whether or not you are actually presenting. You will earn credit for asking panel questions and are expected to participate in discussion.

For Wednesday 3/28

Hello Students!
The following is the schedule for your presentations. Since you've known about the presentations and course schedule since the beginning of this project, I have decided not to award extra credit for the groups presenting on Friday. Keep in mind: the earlier you present, the more time you have to work on your paper.

Friday 3/30: Matt, George, Sayran, and Mackenzie
                   Summer, Michelle, and Mariah

Monday 4/2: Nikita, Taylor, and Garrett
                    Michael, David, and Alex
                    Jordan, Katie, and Mina

Wednesday 4/4: Brett and Samantha
                          Seth, Kyle, and Trevor

The rubric for the presentation is posted on the Assignment Sheets page for your review. I suggest reviewing the assignment sheet before Wednesday so that you are up to speed on what I'm looking for in both the presentation and the paper.
